Ueberraum is not a platform or search engine. In an age of information and sensory overload, we have made it our mission to impress our customers with a curated selection of locations and services.

Ueberraum is a digital catalog of people who have turned their passion into a profession. Behind special people are usually special stories and interesting individuals. We introduce you to these people, their spaces, and their activities here. Our mission is to showcase creative spaces and people that you (likely) wouldn't find without us.

HISTORY

Clients like Annie Leibovitz, Adidas, and Gucci are no coincidence, but the result of years of meticulous attention to detail in the colorful field between off-locations, industrial monuments; changes of use, and ultimately alternative ways of dealing with the resource of (temporarily) vacant properties.

Before founding Ueberrraum, our team had a long-standing focus on the cultural interim use of vacant spaces with projects like SinAllNeoN and Rockmarket. This work has led to numerous collaborations and follow-up projects in the fields of art, culture, design, and business. Today, we operate the iconic, permanent event venue Dough House, with more in the pipeline. 

We will always stay true to our roots.

Under this, we understand that space and time will continue to be viewed non-linearly and without dogma. If the opportunity arises to fill vacant spaces in urban areas with culture, life, and heart, that is exactly what we do. In an era characterized by the 21st-century sharing economy, we consider it anachronistic to leave spaces vacant when the prices for space are exploding and the creative industry is desperately seeking areas for experimentation.

As a location and event agency, our focus is on the Rhine-Main region and Berlin. Beyond that, we draw on a curated database of locations throughout Germany and selectively in Europe.

Yes, viewings are possible at any time by prior arrangement.

Yes, we will put together several suitable options for you in a clear overview.

We advise you individually based on the event format (company event, product launch, wedding, photo shoot, etc.), target audience, number of guests, and desired atmosphere.

Yes, many of our event locations are flexibly usable and can be individually adapted to different event formats.

Basically, the earlier the better, especially for popular dates like Christmas parties and summer parties. However, last-minute bookings are also possible depending on availability.
