UEBERRAUM develops and operates pop-up concepts and interim uses in Frankfurt, Berlin, and the Rhine-Main region. We connect vacant or temporarily available spaces with creative usage ideas—for brands, artists, retailers, and cultural institutions such as the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt, which we had the privilege of advising on the search for and planning of its current interim use in the former Dondorf printing plant over an 18-month period.

What is interim use?

Interim use refers to the temporary use of real estate or spaces that are between two main phases of use – for example, a vacant building before renovation or a site during a development phase. Interim uses activate dormant spaces, create added value for owners and users alike, and revitalize urban districts.
