What is interim use?
Interim use refers to the temporary use of real estate or spaces that are between two main phases of use – for example, a vacant building before renovation or a site during a development phase. Interim uses activate dormant spaces, create added value for owners and users alike, and revitalize urban districts.

Our own projects
UEBERRAUM doesn't just develop for others – we also operate our own interim use projects. The Dannerhalle in Berlin-Oberschöneweide was our first event location, which we realized as part of a cultural interim use of a former Osram production hall. Such projects combine economic use with cultural added value for the neighborhood.
